Nkuruba Community Tours, is a community-based tourism project owned by a team of local tourist guides with more than ten years experience in the tourism sector of Uganda.
Our strategy is to use responsible travel to show tourists our local area, the wildlife, and learn about our traditional cultures. We believe that it will help us in community sensitization and involvement in nature and cultural conservations for the generations to come. Locals will see the need to conserve the natural environment as well as their cultures since they directly benefit from tourism. For this purpose communities in Nkuruba area have been heavily involved.
We have been doing tours in the western and southern parts of Uganda for many years to Murchison falls national park, Kibale chimp forest, Queen Elizabeth national park, as well as Rwenzori Mountain hikes, tours to the crater lakes area, hot springs and birding tours.
Due to increased demand from our clients, we are now extending our tours to the rest of Uganda, such as to the Kidepo- Karamoja area, Sipi Falls around mountain Elgon, Bwindi for the gorillas, lake Mburo National Park and other destinations.
